Gloria L. Lydy

    Gloria L. Lydy, 91, Decatur, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 27. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Ardella Hormann.
    She was a member of Hope United Methodist Church, Marion Homemakers Club and was a Sunday school teacher for 30 years. She loved to read, crochet and travel with her husband.
    Among survivors are her children, Phil E. (Carol) Lydy of New Haven and Sally (Stanely) Fuhrmann of Decatur; grandchildren, Teresa Favuzzo, Tamera Meyer, Daniel Fuhrmann, Sara Hershberger and Lori Cole; and eight great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip E. Lydy; and her brother, Edward Hormann.
    Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hope United Methodist Church in Hoagland, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be in Williamsport Cemetery in Poe.
    Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road in Fort Wayne.
