Glen E. Dubach

    Glen E. Dubach, 89,  of Berne, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Adams Memorial Hospital. 
    He was born to Calvin and Estella (Fox) Dubach on February 28, 1923.
    He married Grace (Mosser) Dubach on May 24, 1947. She is deceased.
     Glen was a member of the Cross Community Church, where he served on the Consistory. He retired from Farm Bureau Co-Op with 38 years of service in the petroleum division in sales and delivery.
    Glen served in WW II in the U.S.  Army and spent time in Africa and Italy. He was a charter board member with the South Adams Senior Center. His special interests included his family and grandchildren, playing pool, and he enjoyed sports.    He and his wife were volunteers at the Swiss Village desk for many years.
     Survivors include three sons, Wallace (Joyce) Dubach of Columbia City; Lynn Dubach of Berne, and Robert (Susan) Dubach of Geneva; and a daughter, Rebecca (Rev. Jeff) Gaskill, of Berne.
     He was preceded in death by his wife; sister Fern Habegger; and brother Lester Dubach.
        Visitation will be on Friday, March 30, from 4-8 p.m. at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home, and Saturday, March 31, from 9-11 a.m. at the Swiss Village Chapel.    
    Funeral services are on Saturday, March 31, at 2:30 p.m. at the Cross Community Church, with visitation one hour prior to services. Pastors Chris Kruchkow and Jeff Gaskill will be officiating.  
    Burial will be in the MRE Cemetery.
