Georgianna C. Converset-Bowers

    Georgianna C. (Engle) Converset-Bowers, 95 of Fort Wayne, formerly of Decatur, passed away at 7:10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at the Coventry Meadow.
    She married Julian W. Converset on December 2, 1942; he passed away on September 7, 1962. She then married Edward J. Bowers on February 10, 1979, in Fort Wayne; he passed away on May 17, 2000.
    Among survivors are her daughter, Mary A. (Richard) Christmas of Portland, Texas; daughter, Jeanne (Maneck) Bharucha of Richardson, Texas; daughter, Elizabeth A. Dunifon of Lakeworth. Fla.; son, Julian W. (Shelley) Converset Jr. of Springfield, Ohio; son, Fr. John M. Converset  MCCJ of Newark, N.J.; son, Claude F. Converset of Markle; son, Thomas J. (Janet) Converset of Fort Wayne; stepdaughter, Edna M. (David) Nieport of Dayton, Ohio; stepdaughter, Donna J. Smith of Decatur; stepdaughter, Janet M. (Stephen) Bentz of Decatur; stepdaughter, Jean M. (Larry) Braun of Decatur; stepdaughter, Ann L. (Gregory) Andrews of Decatur; stepson, Raymond E. Bowers of Hebron, Ind.; stepson, Charles H. (Carol) Bowers of Monroe; stepson, James G. (Janet) Bowers of Decatur; stepson, David A. Bowers o Elwood, Ind.; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 24 stepgrandchildren, and 31 stepgreat-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Brown; stepson, Russell J. Bowers; and a grandchild, Brandon Converset.
    Visitation will be from noon-5 p.m., with Rosary service following, on Sunday, December 16, at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, and one hour prior to services at the St. Mary’s Parish Hall on Monday.
    Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 17, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church.
