Geneva marshall seeks new vehicle

February 10, 2014

Geneva Town Marshall Rob Johnson requested Geneva Town Council consider the purchase of a new vehicle to replace an aging one in his fleet and updated councilors on the status of School Resource Officer Connor Bonesteel at last week’s regular monthly meeting.
Johnson asked if funds might be available to buy a new four-wheel-drive vehicle, replacing a 2006 Chevy Blazer with more than 169,000 miles. “We’ve used our truck a lot this month with all the snow,” he said, adding he anticipated spending approximately $22-$27,000 for a new vehicle “equipped with a police package at government price.”
