Geneva council approves South Adams resource officer pact

July 3, 2013

Geneva Marshall Rob Johnson presented an update on the School Resource Officer agreement to the town council at its meeting Tuesday night.
Because the grant that initially funded the wages of South Adams School Resource Officer Scott Dailey has expired, the town and the school have been working together to figure out a way to continue Dailey's presence in the school. Johnson presented the official agreement, a one-year contract in which the town and school agree to work together to pay Dailey's wages as school resource officer.
    The council accepted the agreement.
