Gale L. Butcher

    Gale L. Butcher, 101, of Rockford, Ohio, died Thursday in Colonial Nursing Center.
    He was born in Jefferson Township of Adams County on May 26, 1909, to Elbridge and Stella Houser Butcher.
    Among survivors are three sons, Dallas Butcher of Fernandino, Florida; Jack Butcher of Fort Wayne; and Jim Butcher of Dayton, Ohio, and two daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Sheryl) Clay of Mendon, Ohio and Mrs. Mike (Debra) Schumm of Rockford.
    Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Rockford, with burial in the church cemetery. Visiting hours are 4-8 p.m. Tuesday in Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home at Rockford and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday in the church.
