Adams County Crimestoppers is is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Julian DeAngelo Hart, 27, who faces several charges here and in Allen County.
According to a news release, on December 7, 2011, Hart allegedly entered Innovative Concepts in Decatur and attempted to purchase merchandise using a fraudulent check. As police were responding to the scene, Hart fled and led police on a high-speed vehicle pursuit through Decatur, the Crime Stoppers report said.
During the pursuit, the vehicle Hart allegedly was driving crashed into another occupied vehicle and ultimately crashed into and caused substantial damage to an unoccupied home on N. Second St.
Hart was charged with forgery, check fraud, resisting law enforcement and criminal mischief, all felonies. He later was able to flee from a hospital in Allen County, which has outstanding warrants for him for forgery.
He is a black male, standing 6-1 and weighing 210 pounds. He has used an alias name of Freddie Rencher and is known to associate with a woman who lives in Decatur, a Crime Stoppers news release said.
