FSA post filled by Pinkerton

January 25, 2011

Anya Pinkerton

Anya Pinkerton is the new executive director for the Adams County Farm Service Agency.
She began her duties on January 18, replacing longtime director Jay H. Gould, who retired.
Pinkerton is from Liberty, Indiana, south of Richmond, where she and her husband have a grain and beef cattle operation.
She is a graduate of Purdue University and is no stranger to the Farm Service Agency. Pinkerton served as a program technician in the Franklin County FSA Office for 10 years before her selection as a county operations trainee last year, training in several FSA county offices throughout Indiana.
Pinkerton said in a news release that she "excited about this new opportunity" and looks forward to serving the producers in the Adams County area.
