Fred Haugk, 93, died December 29, 2012, at Martin Memorial Hospital in Stuart, Fla.
He was born in Ingalls, Ind.
Fred was a 1937 graduate of Anderson High School and attended Indiana University from 1937-1940.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in China during World War II.
Before retirement, Fred was a mechanical contractor in Decatur and owner of Haugk Plumbing and Heating Company. He moved to Jensen Beach, Fla., in 1974, where he was owner of the Windjammer Lounge and Liquor Store on Hutchinson Island, Fla., from 1974-1980 with his son, Jim.
Among survivors are his sons, Jim Haugk of Jensen Beach and Bill Haugk of Fort Wayne; daughter, Ann Haugk of Port Saint Lucie, Fla.; two granddaughters, Lisa Sterner of Saint Cloud, Fla., and Danielle Haugk of Stuart; and two sisters, Barbara Bulmahn of Preble and Mary Adams of Van Wert, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Howard Haugk and his wife, Honora Haugk.
Arrangements are being handled by the Neptune Society of Boca Raton, Fla.
