Frances L. Schwartz

    Frances L. Schwartz, 79, Berne, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at her home surrounded by family.
    She was born Dec. 3, 1934, in Adams County to the late Albert J. Coblentz and Frances Eicher. She married the late Joe H. Schwartz April 4, 1955.
    Frances was a homemaker and a member of the First Missionary Church. A favorite past time of hers was connecting on Facebook with family and many friends. She enjoyed reading her Bible and cherished her family, grand and great-grandchildren.
    Survivors include her children, Pastor A. James (Mary Carol) Schwartz, Mary Ann (Jeff) Dynes and Myron (Annette) Schwartz, all of Berne and Herb (Sheila) Schwartz of Fort Wayne; brothers, Albert Coblentz and Andy Coblentz, both of Lafayette, Jake Coblentz of Phoenix, Ariz., Bill Coblentz of Geneva, Menno Coblentz of Phoenix, Robert Coblentz of Starksvill, Miss., Joe Coblentz of Geneva, Melvin Coblentz of Hayward, Wis., and Amos Coblentz of Berne; 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Wayne Schwartz; a brother, Ben Schwartz; and two sisters, Betty Yoder and Catherine Schwartz.
    Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the First Missionary Church in Berne with Pastor A. James Schwartz and Max Haines officiating.
    Burial is in Westlawn Cemetery in Geneva.
    Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the church fellowship hall and one hour prior to services at the church.
    Preferred memorials are to the Hope Clinic and/or Dots in Blue Water.
