Flower project seeking volunteers

May 13, 2013

Spring is here and the flowers for the downtown pots are growing at this time.
The planned planting date is Saturday, May 18., according to Pastor Dan York, who heads up the annual effort and cares for the plants through the season.
Those wishing to help should be on be on the east side of the courthouse for instructions at 8:30 a.m., York said.
"I could also use four or five adults or young adults to help me spot the plants prior to the actual planting," he said. "Those folks would need to meet me downtown at 6:30 a.m.. Call, text, or e-mail me if you are willing to help with this.
