Florence E. Stuckey

    Florence E. Stuckey, 94, of Van Wert, Ohio, died at 9:05 p.m. Saturday, August 10, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.
    Florence was born March 18, 1919, in Van Wert County to the late Arthur H. and Marie (Schmidgall) Bauer.
    She married Charles Graydon Stuckey on April 24, 1946; he preceded her in death on December 9, 1987.
    Florence had formerly worked at Central Mutual Insurance Co. in Van Wert and retired from Decatur Implement Co. in Decatur in 1962. She had also formerly been the secretary for the Van Wert High School principal. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Van Wert, where she was very active in church activities, as well as Ladies Guild.
    Among survivors are her brother, Art (Jeannie) Bauer of Van Wert; two sisters, Lucille Hulwick of Denver, Colo., and Gloraine Stelzer of Defiance, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
    Florence was preceded in death by two brothers, Herbert Bauer and Rober Bauer.
    Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, August 13, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Van Wert.
    Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, also at the church, with Rev. Phillip Zielinski officiating.
    Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
    Preferred memorials are to the donor's choice.
