Firefighters work Monday to extinguish a fire.

Four Decatur firefighters are at work Monday afternoon at the second major house fire in two days handled by the department. This blaze started in the attic of the Megan Hunter home  at 238 N. Sixth St. and spread to the main floor. No one was injured. City firefighters were assisted by the Preble Fire Department, which brought its breathing tank refill truck to the scene. No monetary estimate of damage was available. Firefighters were sent out at 2:54 p.m. and  were on the scene until 6:32 p.m.
