Fire destroys mobile home; no injuries

    Fire destroyed a mobile home in the Country Acres area, southwest of Decatur, late Sunday night and killed two dogs that were in the residence.
    No people were home when the fire started.
    A spokesman for the Decatur Fire Department said today that the mobile home was owned by Michelle Colbert and that the blaze remains under investigation.
    Damage also was incurred by a parked pickup truck and the exterior of a neighboring mobile home.
    The department was called out at 8:55 p.m. and found the trailer "fully involved" in fire upon arrival, the spokesman said.
    City firefighters were at the scene until 11:16 p.m. and were assisted by the Preble Fire Department, which brought two tankers and its breathing tank refill vehicle.
