New steps at Adams County Courthouse

Eric Mann Say "goodbye" to the old front steps of the Adams County Courthouse. Hitchcock Concrete of Decatur is putting in new steps, which will have hot water pipes embedded to heat the concrete and melt ice and snow. The work will be done in three to four weeks, after which the Hitctcock firm will remove the courthouse's rear steps and repair a ramp beside those steps, a project that will also take three or four weeks.
