Eulalia M. Augsburger

    Eulalia M. Augsburger, 95, Decatur, passed away Saturday, Dec.14, 2013, at Adams Memorial Hospital.
    She was born Oct. 20, 1918, in Adams County, daughter of the late Christian and Katherine (Korte) Borne.
    She married Walter J. Augsburger June 20, 1943; he died Feb. 9, 2001.
    Eulalia was a member of Zion United Church of Christ where she was in the Women’s Guild and Friendship Circle. She worked as an administrative clerk for the Agriculture Stabilization Conservation Service.
    She is survived by two sons, Russell Augsburger of Fort Wayne and Darrell Augsburger of Denver, Colo.; a daughter, Mrs. Pat (Janeen) Ellenberger of Decatur; a brother, Raymond Borne of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
    Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Haggard-Sefton and Hirschy Funeral Home and also one hour prior to calling at Zion United Church of Christ.
    Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church with Rev. Randy Rossman officiating.
    Burial will take place in the Decatur Cemetery.
    Preferred Memorials are to Zion United Church of Christ.
