Enedina S. Rosa

    Enedina S. Rosa, 72, of Decatur, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, February 5, 2013.
    She was born in Crystal City, Texas, on May 2, 1940, to the late Tomas and Guadalupe (Serna) Salazar.
    Enedina married Daniel C. Rosa on November 14, 1960; he preceded her in death on June 3, 1974.
    Enedina was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and also attended Cornerstone Church. She was a homemaker.
    Among survivors are three sons, Tommy (Patricia) Rosa, Samuel Rosa, and Ramon Amador, all of Fort Wayne; two daughters, Suzy (Noe) Oviedo of Arlington, Texas, and Yolanda (Ron) Bauman of Decatur; two brothers, Hector (Marsha) Salazar of Decatur and Joel (Cynthia) Salazar of Cleveland, Ohio; three sisters, Noelia Gomez of San Antonio, Texas, Elsa (Mario) Zaragoza and Martha (Francisco) Pimentel, both of Decatur; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
    Visitation will be from 4–8 p.m. on Friday, February 8, at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home. The Holy Rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m., and a time of sharing will take place at 7:30 p.m. The family has requested that people not wear black. A prayer service will take place at 9:20 a.m. on Saturday, February 9, also at the funeral home.
    A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. Fr. David Voors will officiate.
    Burial will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
    Preferred memorials are to Adams County Council on Aging.
