Elnora L. Bebout

    Elnora Lou Bebout, 86, of Decatur, died on Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at Woodcrest Retirement Community's Nursing Center.
    She was born on December 11, 1924, in Allen County, Indiana, to Donald and Edith (Johnson) Morrison.
    Elnora married C. Eugene Bebout on April 5, 1946. He preceded her in death on September 26, 2004.
    Elnora was a member of Grace Fellowship Church and had worked for General Electric, retiring in 1987 after 25 years of service.
    She was a graduate of Pleasant Mills High School.
    Surviving are four sons, Thomas Bebout of Pleasant Mills; Timothy Bebout of Pleasant Mills; John “Terry” (Tammy) Bebout of Millersburg, Indiana; and Todd Bebout of Pendleton; one daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Carolyn) Straub of Decatur; two sisters, Mrs. James (Phyllis) Fisher and Barbara Morrison of Fort Wayne; nine grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Morrison.
    Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today, September 9, 2011, at Haggard-Sefton and Hirschy Funeral Home, Decatur, and one hour prior to services.
    The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2011, at the funeral home, with Pastor Daniel York officiating.
    Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
    Memorials are to Grace Fellowship Church.
