Elma L. Selking

    Elma L. Selking, 81, of Decatur, died at 12:30 a.m. Monday in the nursing center at Woodcrest Retirement Community, where she had resided since February of this year.
      She was born on January 11, 1929 in Adams County to Emil W. and Hilda V. Buechner Krueckeberg.
      She married Richard A. Selking on July 31, 1955, in St. John Lutheran Church at Convoy, Ohio; he passed away on April 26 of this year.
 Elma was a homemaker who worked for the Morris Company from 1947-51 and for the G.C. Murphy Company from 1951-76.
    Elma was a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Decatur.
    Her only survivor is a sister, Janet D. Krueckeberg of Convoy.
    Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 1403 Manchester St. in Decatur, with Pastor Jonathan Neipp officiating.
    Burial will be in Redeemer Lutheran Cemetery at Convoy.
    Visiting hours are 4-8 p.m. Wednesday in Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, and 9-10 a.m. Thursday in the church.    
    Preferred memorials are to Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church or to the Redeemer Lutheran Cemetery Fund.
