Eileen Tieman

    Eileen D. Tieman, 85, of Monroeville passed away on Monday, August 19, 2013, at Adams Heritage Nursing Home in Monroeville.
    Eileen was born on Monday, February 6, 1928, in Allen County, the daughter of the late Charles H. and Helen M. (Nahrwold) Judt.
    She married Eugene W. Tieman on August 22, 1948, in the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Soest; he passed away on August 13, 2002.
    Eileen was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Flatrock, near Monroeville. She was a homemaker and had worked for eight years at International Harvester in the 1950s.
    Among survivors are two daughters, Marilyn Crabill of Monroeville and Lois Burrey of Fort Wayne; sister, Mary Jane Pruesse of New Haven; grandchild, Amy (Shon) McCullough of Fort Wayne; and great-grandchild, Charlotte McCullough.
    Preceding Eileen in death was her son-in-law, Dave Crabill.
    Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., Thursday, August 22, at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, in Monroeville, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
    Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 23, 2013, at St. John Lutheran Church, Flatrock with Rev. Douglas Christian officiating.
    Burial will follow in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
    Preferred memorials are to St. John Lutheran Church, Flatrock, Monroeville EMS or Adams Heritage Nursing Home.
