Eileen A. Andrews

    Eileen A. Andrews, 94, of Decatur, a former Adams County Clerk, died at 6:05 a.m. Thursday in the nursing center at Woodcrest Retirement Community.
    She was born on March 15, 1917, in Decatur to Lottie A. and Verda M. Bigham Jackson.
    She married John F. Andrews on November 27, 1938, in Zion Reformed Church of Decatur; he passed away in 1996.
    She served for three years as Adams County Clerk and was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Decatur.
    She was a 1936 graduate of Decatur High School and a homemaker.
    Surviving are one granddaughter, Miche C. Jo (and husband Simon Keeling) of Ontario, Canada; one great-granddaughter, Nyah Way of Ontario; one stepgrandson, Cogi Rinehart of Bloomington; two daughters-in-law, Janice Andrews of Larwill and Nancy Rinehart-Andrews of Bloomington; one niece, Mrs. Ed (Teresa) Gensheimer of Decatur; four nephews, Larry Jackson (and wife Pat), Edward Jackson (and wife Judy), and Mark Andrews (and wife Janet), all of Decatur, and Lance Andrews of Florida; and one sister-in-law, Patricia Andrews of Georgia.
    She was preceded in death by two sons, Gene H. and Michael T. Andrews, and one brother, Harlan V. Jackson.
    Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Porter Auditorium at Woodcrest, with Pastor Michael Heinbaugh officiating.
    Burial will be in Ray Cemetery, rural Monroe.
    Visitation is 1-2:30 p.m. Saturday in Porter Auditorium at Woodcrest.
    Preferred memorials are to St. Mark's United Methodist Church for missions projects.
    Funeral arrangements were by Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur.
