Early voting begins April 8

    Adams County Clerk of Courts Gayla Reinhart has announced early voting hours for the 2014 May primary election will be held from 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.,  April 8 through May 2, in the hallway of the Adams County courthouse, on the main level.
    Early voting will also be held from 8 a.m.-noon on May 5, the day before this year’s May 6 primary balloting. Saturday early voting hours will be from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. April 26 and May 3.
    As with every primary election, which determines the nominee to represent each party in the November general election, individuals casting their ballot must declare a party. Those wishing to vote must also provide a valid state issued identification, such as an Indiana driver’s license, Indiana ID card or government issued ID, such as a military ID. These ID’s must not be expired.
