Eagle program at Limberlost Friday

July 3, 2014

The public is invited to a bald eagle program, a special Independence Day program, from 2-3:30 p.m. Friday at the Limberlost State Historic Site Visitor Center in Geneva.
Visitors will be able to see a live bald eagle, provided by Soarin’ Hawk Raptor Rehab of Fort Wayne, and attend a PowerPoint presentation in the Visitor Center classroom.
The event is free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted.
“Come to the Limberlost to learn about our country’s national symbol on our nation’s birthday,” said Randy Lehman, Limberlost State Historic Site manager.  “The comeback of the bald eagle is one of the United States’ great conservation success stories.”
