Dyer announces run for clerk’s seat

Decatur businessman Ed Dyer has filed the necessary paperwork and will seek the Republican nomination for the position of Adams County Clerk of Courts in the May primary election.
Incumbent clerk Gayla Reinhart is barred by term limits from seeking a third consecutive term.
Dyer and his wife, Kate, are owners of the Java Bean Café in downtown Decatur. Prior to opening the café, Dyer was a full time, professional auctioneer and owns Ed Dyer Auction Service Inc. He has worked for the past 23 years in the wholesale auction community, selling automobiles, semi trucks and heavy duty construction equipment. He has conducted auctions throughout Indiana and in major cities across the U.S.
