Dwenger grad set to visit St. Joe, Smoker

    Notre Dame wide receiver John Goodman, a graduate of Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger High School, will be the honored guest at this Sunday's 43rd annual St. Joe Smoker at the Knights of Columbus pavilion.
    Goodman played in 35 games for the Irish before winding up his career this season. The 6-3, 215-pounder will sign autographs at the St. Joe gymnasium from 12:30 to 1:30 Sunday.
    Door at the K of C will open at 12:30.
    Tickets are $10 prior to the event or $15 at the door, and are available at Murphy's Barber Shop, Vinnie's Bar, Bill Miller Auto Sales, Kintz Insurance, Two Brothers Bar & Restaurant, and the K of C.
    Proceeds benefit the St. Joseph School athletic fund.
    Only those 21 years of age and older may attend.
