Dorothy M. Bultemeier

    Dorothy M. Bultemeier, 72, of Decatur, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Lutheran Hospital.
    She was born on Friday, December 13, 1940, in Allen County to the late James Vinson and the late Vera (Kleber) Vinson.
    She married Kenneth Bultemeier on April 4, 1959.
    Dorothy was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hessen Cassel.
    She was a retired secretary for East Allen County Schools at Heritage High School.
    Among survivors are her husband of 54 years, Ken Bultemeier, Sr. of Decatur; two daughters, Sharon (Kevin) White of Decatur and Sandra (Thomas) Bearman of Fort Wayne; two sons, Jerald (Rosetta) Bultemeier of Decatur and Ken (Sally) Bultemeier, Jr. of Fort Wayne; three sisters, Doris (Steve) Steward of Grabill, Delores (Mark) Jury of Scranton, Penn. and Donna (stan) young of Ludington, Mich.; two brothers, Ron (Carol) vinson of Fort wayne and Richard (Nancy) Vinson of New Haven; 10 grandchildren, Shayla (Tom) Roma, Olivia (Eric) Tharpe, Shelby Bultemeier, Courtney White, Cody White, Caylen White, Carson White, Ryan Werling, Cecily Werling, and Emily Bultemeier.
    Following Dorothy's wishes, private family services were held at Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur.
    Preferred memorials are to donors choice.
