    Dorothy J. Pollock, 77, of Decatur, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2010, at Adams Memorial Hospital.
    Dorothy was born on August 1, 1933, to Logan R. and Pearl A. (Strohl) Baer in Van Wert, Ohio.
    On June 12, 1954, she married James G. Pollock.
    She is survived by her husband, James G. Pollock of Decatur; one son, Scott Pollock (girlfriend Wanda Barnes) of Decatur; two daughter, Mrs. Vicki (Kurt) Henkel of Fremont, Ohio, and Cheryl Pollock of Decatur; two brothers: James (Ruth) Baer of Provo, Utah, and Jerry (Rosemary) Baer of Loveland, Colorado; one sister, Marcile Hoghe of Van Wert, Ohio; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Cathy Jo Pollock; six brothers; and two sisters.
    Dorothy was a homemaker, and a nurses' aide at the former Community Care Center in Decatur and at Adams Memorial Hospital.
    She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Decatur.
    Visitation will be held on Friday, December 10, 2010, from 4-8 p.m. at Haggard and Sefton Funeral Home in Decatur.
    Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 11, 2010, at 10 a.m. in Haggard and Sefton Funeral Home. Pastor Tom Willhardt will be officiating.
    Burial will take place in Decatur Cemetery.
    Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
