Doris A. (Affolder) Zinn

    Doris A. (Affolder) Zinn, 89, Bluffton, formerly of Decatur, died on January 14, 2013, at Christian Care Retirement Community in Bluffton.
    Doris was born March 29, 1923, in Adams County to the late Lawrence and Goldie E. (Graham) Diehl.
    Her first husband was former Adams County sheriff Merle Affolder, who preceded her in death on September 10, 1992. She then married James Howard Zinn, who preceded her in death on June 22, 2000.
    Doris worked for CTS in Berne in Quality Control.
    Among survivors are three sons, Michael (Darlene) Affolder of Manassas, Va.; Brad (Terri) Affolder of Decatur; and Kevin (Diane) Affolder of Kenasaw, Ga.; two daughters, Sandy Affolder and Taya (Keith) Abbott, both of Brookville, Ind.; brother, Russell (Elisabeth) Diehl of Bluffton; sister-in-law, Genevieve Diehl of Bluffton; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
    Doris was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
    Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Saturday, January 19, at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home.
    Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, also at the funeral home. Rev. Martha Lyon will be officiating.
    Preferred memorials are to Fishes and Loaves at First United Methodist Church.
