Donations sought for Gehres benefit

    Family and friends will host a benefit for a rural Decatur resident, Scott Gehres, on Sunday, June 30, at the Knights of Columbus hall on High St. in Decatur.
    The benefit is scheduled from 12 noon to 8 p.m.,with a dinner provided to the public by friends and family. A free-will donation will be taken for the dinner.
    Live music,dance performances by Razz M' Jazz, raffles, a bake sale, and a silent and Chinese auction are currently being planned.
    Organizers said they are in need of donations for the raffles and auctions, as well as bake sale items (packaged and ready for sale). Anyone who is able to help is asked to contact any of the following for items to be picked up or dropped off.
