Diane L. Emenhiser

    Diane L. Emenhiser, 69, Monroeville, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, at her residence.
    She was born April 16, 1944, in Adams County, to Loretta E. McNeal and the late Thomas L. McNeal.
    Diane married Larry W. Emenhiser Oct. 6, 1962; he survives.
    She was a homemaker, a waitress at 3 Kings and a retired dietician from Lutheran Hospital.
    Diane was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Monroeville. She volunteered as a High Hope Clown. She enjoyed spending time with family and being supportive of her grandchildren’s activities. Diane loved her summers at Barton Lake and enjoyed playing cards with her friends.
    She is survived by two sons, Greg Emenhiser and Chris (Tonya) Emenhiser, both of Monroeville; a daughter, Mrs. Dawn (Scott) Shepherd of Hoagland; a brother, Max (Joyce) McNeal of Springfield, Ohio; a sister Karen Ternet of Fort Wayne; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
    Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church with calling one hour prior to the service. Officiating will be Pastor Jeremy Russel.
    Burial will be in Monroeville Memorial Cemetery.
    Visitation will be from 4–7 p.m. Thursday at Haggard-Sefton and Hirschy Funeral Home.
    Preferred memorials may be made to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church or Hospice.
