Dennis W. Williams

    Dennis W. Williams, 66, of Decatur, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012, at Adams Memorial Hospital.
    He was born on November 23, 1945, in Defiance, Ohio, to the late Carl W. and Alverda M. (Collett) Williams.
    Dennis married Sandra J. (Sprunger) on February 9, 1999; she survives in Decatur.
    He worked for Uniroyal Goodrich Tire, and was a member of Blackhawk Ministries in Fort Wayne.
    He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion Post 377 in Woodburn.    
    Among survivors are his son, Bradley W. (Sandy) Williams of Cloverdale, Ohio; daughter, Kristina K. Williams of Oakwood, Ohio; four sisters, Sueann (Ed) Bidack, Ellen Perry, Sandy (Greg) Spitnale, and Kathy (Kevin) Homier, all of Continental, Ohio; three grandchildren, and 13 nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by two sisters, Sharon Lee Williams and Mary Lou Shirey.
    Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home with funeral services at 2 p.m. immediately following the calling.
