Decatur firefighters are on scene at a house fire on Piqua Rd.

April 22, 2013

A house fire on Piqua Rd., just north of Cornerstone Church, has the Decatur Fire Department busy this afternoon as they brought the blaze under control. Units from Preble were called in to assist with the blaze and paramedics were on hand as well.
It was initially thought the homeowner was trapped inside, but firefighters quickly learned this was not the case. The house was empty at the time of the fire. Crews were still on scene at 12:30 p.m. Monday.
