Decatur declared ‘shovel ready’ site for food processing

November 19, 2013

The Phase III expansion of the Decatur Industrial Park has received an exclusive endorsement to help promote the benefits of locating in the park, Adams County Economic Development Corporation Executive Director Larry Macklin informed county commissioners Monday afternoon at their regular weekly meeting.
The 62-acre addition to the industrial park has been designated as “shovel-ready” Food Processing and Beverage Industry site through a certification process conducted by Austin Consulting and promoted through Indiana Michigan Power.
“I’m really proud of this accomplishment,” Macklin stated.
