Decatur, Berne men charged in Wells drug bust

    Police in Adams and Wells counties — plus state police, federal marshalls, and state conservation officers, united on Wednesday to make an anti-drug sweep, primarily in Wells County, and arrest 20 people (19 males and one woman) on a total of 44 charges.
    Three others are still being sought.
    Among those apprehended were two Adams County residents, Robert N. Parker II, 52, Berne, charged with three counts of dealing in a controlled substance, and John L. Shaw, 34, Decatur, two counts of dealing in a controlled substance.
    The others apprehended were as follows:
    Jeffrey L. Bays Jr., 21, Bluffton, three counts of dealing in marijuana and one count of dealing in a controlled substance.
    Robert S. Sowder, 25, Portland, one count of unlawful sale of a legend drug and one count of dealing in a controlled substance.
    Christopher M. Hayden, 26, Bluffton, two counts of dealing in a controlled substance.
    Troy M. Hultz, 49, Bluffton, one count of dealing in a controlled substance and one count of unlawful sale of a legend drug.
    Unidentified Bluffton male, 17, two counts of dealing in a controlled substance.
    Sterling H. Armstrong, 19, three counts of dealing in marijuana.
    Benjamin J. Davis, 19, Bluffton, one count of dealing in a controlled substance and two counts of dealing in marijuana.
    Jason B. Long, 21, Ossian, two counts of dealing in a controlled substance.
    Dillon L. Geninatti, 18, Bluffton, one count of dealing in a controlled substance.
    Bruce A. Murray Jr., 22, Ossian, two counts of dealing in a controlled substance.
    Jonathan Osborn, 19, Bluffton, two counts of dealing in marijuana.
    Roderick V. Green, 26, Fort Wayne, one count of dealing in cocaine and one count of dealing in a controlled substance.
    Trevor L. Eckelbarger, 19, Bluffton, one count of dealing in marijuana and one count of dealing in a controlled substance.
    Trenton L. Eckelbarger, 18, Bluffton, three counts of dealing in marijuana.
    Zachary R. Monnot, 22, Ossian, one count of dealing in marijuana.
    April Mahon, 38, Bluffton, two counts of dealing in cocaine.
    William C.M. Stanley, 22, Bluffton, one count of dealing in marijuana and one count of unlawful sale of a legend drug.
    Nicholas A. Shady, 18, Bluffton, two counts of dealing in marijuana.
