The Clemente (7-8) group will compete at 6 p.m., the Mays (9-10) group at approximately 6:45, and the Reese (11-12) group at approximately 7:30 p.m.
Players should register as early as possible, or at least a half hour prior to competing.
Again this year, the competition will be open to all Hoosier East Baseball Alliance players, as well as to other baseball players who live in the area.
A charge of $1 will be made for each entry. Trophies and prizes will be awarded for each age group.
One addition to the contest this year will be a relay. Players will be divided into groups of threes for the relay contest, which will have two sessions, one infield and one outfield. Players can bring in their own threesomes or will be assigned. Each player on a threesome will be given the number of points that the group earns, according to finish, or time.
Players will hit, with the Clemente group using the pitching machine. Players will throw from the outfield at a target in the infield. Competitors will catch flies and grounders
Over 60 competed in last year's first annual Skills Contest.
