David E. Tricker

    David Edward Tricker of Indianapolis, 60 years of age, passed away in the early hours of November 2 in the company of his loving family.
    He is survived by his wife, Janet; five children, Nate [Rachel], Jason [Sara], Matt [Robin], Ben [Eleigh], and Jenny [Pete]; and nine grandchildren, Sam, Hannah, Owen, Max, Isaiah, Ian, Eli, Tad, and Asher.
    Dave will be long remembered for the loving wisdom he bestowed upon his family, his friends, and his coworkers. Devotion to family and faith brought great joy throughout his life.
    Dave was born and reared in Decatur, the fourth of six children born to George and Naomi Tricker. His siblings are John, Bill, Bob, Mary Ann, and James.
    Dave married Janet Miller in 1970 and they had five children.
    Dave worked as a route salesman for approximately 40 years for Cover-All Rental and Ziker Cleaners, serving as a loving and dedicated provider for his family.
    In his later years, Dave’s greatest joy was being Grandpa (“Papa”) to his wonderful grandchildren. He will be heartily missed by his family and friends.
    Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church on Saturday, November 6, from 9-10 a.m. and will be immediately followed by a funeral service. Sacred Heart of Jesus Church is at 63568 US 31 in South Bend, Indiana.
    Funeral arrangements were by Bell Mortuary and Crematory, Royster-Askin-Sandrock Chapel at Indianapolis.
