    Darrell D. Ross, 61, of Decatur, died at 1:25 a.m. on Monday, May 2, 2011, at his residence.
    He was born on August 23, 1949 in Hartford City to the late Howard and Martha (Wright) Ross.
    He married Terry F. Ross on November 23, 2002; she passed away on December 17, 2008.
    He is survived by three daughters, Dora J. Ross of Portland; Andrea E. (Troy) Ford of Fortville, Indiana; and Lindsay R. (Ricky) Thompson of Bluffton; a stepson, Trent Timmons of Decatur; a brother, Steve L. (Lisa) Ross of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; a half-sister Susie Koons of Anderson; three half-brothers,Larry Bicknell, Gary Bicknell, and Terry (Mary) Bicknell, all of Muncie; and four grandchildren: Chelsea and Mallory Ford of Fortville and Thomas and Aaron Yates of Portland.
    He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry L. Ross.
    He was a member of Moose Lodge 1311 and American Legion Post 43, both in Decatur.
    Darrell served in the United States Navy. He worked as pickup and delivery driver for Estes Express Lines.
    Visitation is 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at Haggard-Sefton and Hirschy Funeral Home, Decatur, and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
    The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2011, at the funeral home, with Pastor Matt Moore officiating.
    Military honors will be conducted by American Legion Post 43's color guard.
    Burial will take place in Elm Ridge Cemetery at Muncie at a later date.
    Memorials may be made to the Lymphoma Research Foundation.
