Dale Richard Wagner

    Dale Richard Wagner, 66, Geneva, passed away Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014, at his residence.
    He was born in Celina, Ohio, July 28, 1948, to the late Dorman “Curly” and Edna Wagner.
  A 1967 graduate of South Adams High School, Dale was a member of the American Legion Post 468 in Berne and VFW Post 6751 in Geneva. He was a retired machinist and former owner of Chip and Dales in Geneva.
  Among survivors are his daughter, Shenelle (Michael) Wendel of Portland; sons, Brett (Renee) Wagner of Linn Grove, Chad (Sherry) White of Geneva and Shannon (Tonya) White of Preble; sister, Mary Lou (Dean) Hall of Geneva; sister-in-law, Marlene Wagner of Cincinnati; brother, Les Wagner of Geneva; grandchildren, Brett (Tequila) Wagner of Linn Grove; Kasey Wagner of Fort Wayne; Megan Nicole White of Phoenix, Ariz.; Shanda Morningstar of Berne; Zackary Galloway of Portland; Kristen, Reba and Wyatt Wendel, all of Portland, and Devin White of Bluffton; and great-grandchildren, Maddix Morningstar of Berne and Zhayne Wagner of Linn Grove.
    Dale was preceeded in death by a brother, Paul Wagner.
    Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home, 100 N. Washington St., Geneva, with Marlene Ellis officiating. Internment will follow in West Lawn Cemetery in Geneva.
    Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
    In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations toward funeral expenses.
