‘Cuties’ will play Decatur

    “Cuties of Decatur” will be presented four times this month during the city’s 175th anniversary celebration.
    The play, written and directed by Mara Dee Striker Baker, will be performed at 8 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, August 17-18, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 21, with admission of $8.
    A special dinner performance will be given on Friday, August 19, with the meal at 6:30 p.m. and the show at 8 p.m., tickets are $15. More than 60 people are expected to attend the dinner show; Friday was the reservation deadline.
    Tickets for the other three shows may be obtained at the Decatur Chamber of Commerce, 125 E. Monroe St.
    Cast members are Robin Woten, playing Maggie; Marilyn Vizard as Ellen; Janet Zollas Greta; Heather Williams as Anne; Lou Anne Stevens as Kate, and Jamie Shoup Macklin as Sara.
