Crime-fighting hoopsters to take on K105’s crew

    The Adams County CrimeStoppers program will be hosting the third annual “help fight crime” fundraiser basketball game on February 18. 
    The Crime Fighters will take on the Fort Wayne K105 radio station team starting at 7 p.m. at the Bellmont High School gym.
    Ticket prices are $4 for adults, $2 for students, and children under 5 will be admitted free. 
    Jenna Razo’s Razz-M-Jazz dance studio will perform for the halftime show. 
    A basket with assorted items will be raffled off during game.
    This year’s Crime Fighters team members are as follows: Decatur Det. Lennie Corral, State Police Sgt. Dan Mawhorr, Decatur officer Julie Haines, Decatur officer Corey Hamm, sheriff’s K-9 Deputy Jim Franze, sheriff’s Sgt. Larry Butler, sheriff’s Deputy Dio Hernandez, sheriff’s Reserve Deputy John Summers, Geneva Reserve Officer Spencer Wilson, Crisis Shelter office manager Bailey Franze, and Coach Ronnie Sam Smitley.  
    Also, added to the team as a special guest will be Bellmont High School varsity player Cameron Bienz.
    Monetary donations will be accepted at the game.  Anyone wanting to make a raffle donation can call CrimeStoppers, 692-2882, or Det. Corral, 724-8646.
