Robert Brown of Decatur and Edith Northup of Fort Wayne met and fell in love at the ages of 21 and 19, respectively.
After a whirlwind romance of 2 1/2 years, they went their separate ways ... only to find each other again 50 years later.
They were married at 2 p.m. on Saturday outdoors at the American Legion in Berne.
A full story about how the couple ended up at the alter will be published this week in the Daily Democrat.

I will being looking forward to the follow up story. We also are hoping to see you soon.
