County’s tax collection rate exceeds 96%

January 16, 2014

Adams County Treasurer Tom Krueckeberg reported to the Adams County Commissioners this week that 96.7 percent of all tax collections due from local residents from 2013 had already been paid to date, with that percentage expected to rise slightly over the coming weeks as additional and delinquent payments are made.
Krueckeberg indicated the payment percentage was among some of the highest in the state.
