Corrine V. Lehman

    Corrine V. Lehman, 89, Berne, passed away Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, at her home.
    She was born to the late Henry and Rosella (Beer) Nussbaum on Oct. 21, 1923, in Adams County. She married the late Emerson "Emie" Lehman on Oct. 21, 1944.
    Corrine was a member of the Cross Community Church, Berne, and served as an elder, Sunday school teacher and a member of the choir for 70 years. She was co-owner of Lehman's Auction and Real Estate Co. and a member of the Indiana Real Estate Association. Special interests included; caring for her flowers, cooking, antique collecting, reading, especially her bible and she loved music.
    Among survivors are five daughters, Connie (Jim) Mann, Sue Ann Lehman, Regina (Jim Stickle) Mailoux, all of Berne, Amy (Ken) Lambertson of Alexandria and Gretta (Jerry) Nusbaumer of Keystone; brother, Curtis Nussbaum of Monroe; sister-in-law, Gladys Nussbaum of Berne; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Weldon and Roger Nussbaum.
    Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13, and one hour prior to services at Cross Community Church.
    Funeral  services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m., also at the church with Pastor Chris Kruchkow officiating.
    Burial is at MRE Cemetery, Berne.
    Preferred memorials are to the church, Family Life Care and/or Fort Wayne Crossroads.
