Convenience store here robbed today

    Decatur police are continuing their investigation into a robbery that took place at a local business at 3:40 a.m. today.
    Police said a male entered the Village Deli at 927 S. 13th Street, Decatur, and demanded money. The man showed no weapon, but indicated to the store clerk that he was carrying one.
    Described as a white male of medium height and medium build, the subject left the building with an undisclosed amount of money and headed north. Police reported the man's face and head was covered at the time of the robbery.
