Adams County Commissioner Ed Coil reported the establishment of criteria surrounding part-time employees and their exclusion from participation in the county’s health care program during Monday’s regular weekly meeting of the Adams County Commissioners.
Coil stated “we’ve been setting hours for our part-time people,” noting there are 93 individuals on the part-time employee list, many of whom are working fewer than 20 hours per week. Based on a 28-hour work week, commissioners established a limit of 1,456 hours per year that those part-time employees are allowed to work.
