Coaches vs. Cancer Classic

March 30, 2012

On Saturday, April 7, Bellmont High School will be hosting the county's first annual Coaches vs. Cancer Classic baseball games.
The games will include the Braves, Adams Central, and the Starfires of South Adams in a three-game format throughout the day. Each school will wear special t-shirts with their respective school colors and feature a large pink school logo on the front. All three teams will also be wearing pink and white wristbands and pink shoelaces. The t-shirts are designed by Minds Eye Graphics.
The first game will feature the Braves against the Starfires at 10 A.M. followed by Bellmont/AC. The Jets and Stars will play the final game following game two.
The purpose and goal of this event is to not only raise funds for cancer research, but to raise awareness and support for the cure of any and all cancers. The creators of the event also want to show support for those who have fought and are fighting the disease and pay respect to those that lost their battle.
