Love INC (Love In the Name of Christ) has announced the beginning of the annual Clothe-A-Kid for School campaign.
Children participating in the free or reduced-price lunch program in Adams County, and who will be at least four years old and in grades pre-kindergarten through eighth at the start of the 2012-13 school year, are eligible for this program.
"The purpose of this project is to send needy children back to school with a brand new set of clothes," said Executive Director Claudia Karges.
Those making a donation will be given the first name of a child, age, gender, and sizes for clothing.
Recommended items include one pair of pants, a skirt or jumper; two shirts or blouses; three pairs of socks; three sets of underwear; and a light jacket or sweater.
Karges said applications for assistance must be received by May 22, while donation forms indicating how many sets of clothing they are willing to purchase must be received by July 2.
For more information call the Love INC office: (260) 728-4503.
