City pool opening on tap Saturday

    Due to unseasonably warm temperatures, the city swimming pool will open this Saturday, a week earlier than usual, park and recreation department officials announced.
    Saturday's hours will be 1 to 5 p.m.
    Pool hours for the summer will be as follows:
     Family and lap swim, Monday through Friday, noon to 1 p.m.
     Open swim and lap swim, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 1-5 p.m.
    Open swim and lap swim, Tuesday and Thursday, 1-7 p.m.
    New this year: The first and third Monday night of June and July, and the first Monday of August, the pool will be open from 5 to 8:30 p.m.
    Also new this year, pool coupons will be sold in booklets of 10 for $15 each; coupon will be good for one person per visit per day.
    Daily admission will be $2
