City man hot for new idea: campfire 2 go

July 1, 2013

A local businessman is campaigning to get a revolutionary new product off the ground.
Neil Schroeder, owner of Andy's Car Wash, is convinced that Campfire 2 Go could be the next big thing.
At Neil's Thanksgiving get-together in 2011, his brother, Don, placed his Campfire 2 Go prototype on the ground, lit it, and asked his brother, "What do you think?" Neil replied, "What do I think? I think we need to start a business for it, like ... yesterday!"
Campfire 2 Go is a campfire kit for any occasion, complete with kindling, newspaper, even matches. All the user has to do is remove the lid and light the newspaper that sticks through a small hole near the bottom. Everything in the kit is made from recycled materials that would otherwise have gone to a landfill, and Schroeder says that everything burns, except for the staples that hold the top and bottom in place.
