A large crane blocked a portion of 2nd Street in downtown Decatur Wednesday morning as air conditioning units were lifted off the former bank building that will — in the near future — serve as the new home for Decatur City Hall. According to City Operations Manager Jeremy Gilbert, the units were removed to allow crews to do roof repairs and will be reinstalled at a later date.
